NADP has responded to the NHS consultation to celebrate its 75th birthday. It asked what it does well, what can be improved and what the future should look like. Our response focuses on the success of Cochlear Implants, how the availability could be improved and how more support could be provided for people with hearing aids.
We also make it clear that communication with patients with hearing loss needs to be improved, including greater awareness and implementation of the Accessibility Information Standard. Read our full response here and let us have your thoughts and experience, good and bad, so that we can continue to feed these back to NHS when we meet them in the forthcoming months.
