Saturday 23 October

2- 5 PM British Standard Time ( 3-6 PM Brussels time)

The National Association of Deafened People’s annual conference is back, online!

We are very pleased to announce the speakers for our conference on Saturday 23rd October.

Listen to our President, Lilian Greenwood MP sharing the Parliamentary work of the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Deafness (APPGD) and our Patron, Sue Archbold sharing her thoughts on the World Report on Hearing. Christian Vogler from Gallaudet University will be talking about his involvement in the development of Live Transcribe with Google; how much we have depended on it during this pandemic?! He will also talk about new and upcoming technology. Finally, Hildegunn Fallang, from the Norwegian Hard of Hearing Association will share the Nordic hearing loss experience and lessons learned from the pandemic. Each speakers’ presentation will be followed by a Q&A session.

There is something for everyone and we encourage you to join us! The conference is open to all, members, their friends and even those who are hearing about us for the first time. This knowledge is for sharing.
